THROWBACK MOVIE REVIEW: MY TOP 5 MOMENTS OF 'THE FIVE HEARTBEATS'

1.) When Big Red beat Bird ass and dangled him out the window. I didn't even feel sorry for him because Big Red told him "My office hours are from 9 to 5"... Big Red beat Bird ass until his waves sweated out. How do you beat somebody ass so feverishly that your hair completely changes styles? I mean, damn, he had a jheri curl when he finally stopped whoopin that ass... Bird should have known better than to try an punk Big Red big country ignant ass, especially when he was in the middle of telling a joke to some of his Goons. That's a definite no-no, cause Red the type of negro to "put on' for his city.

4.) When Eddie 'Kang' Jr sung 'A Heart Is A House For Love' at the talent show. He tore the house down. Bird and 'The Falcons' was too busy trying to sabotage, when they should have been working on they own acapello game instead of them whack ass dance moves....Eddie had Cookie squirming in her chair like a fish out of water. I was thoroughly satisfied when the broad passed out, lmao. "Can't nobody sang like Eddie Kang"...And cant nobody tell me that ain't 50 cent in drag at 3:36

3.) When dude from the record company came to bring them their album cover, and hit them with some bullshit as to why they wasn't on the cover of the album. Saying it would be better if white folks on the front of the album so that it can appeal to a wider audience aka 'cross-over' *side-eye*..... When JT said "A cross-over aint nothing but a double-cross... I ain't neva seen 5 niggas on Elvis Presley's album cover." My heart did a back-flip and my soul applauded. Preach Bro. JT, preach.

2.)When Duck and JT do 'Shy-Brother' with that slut skeez at the restaurant and her dude come whoop JT ass "I gotta fight every night to prove my love" (his fool ass should know that that's a problem)...Back in the day when my friend or I would do something 'good' for the other, we would always say "Work it JT, work it" lol. We would even do 'Shy-Sista' sometimes (just for kicks). Whew, mem-o-ries lol.

1.)The church scene at the end, when Eddie Kang Jr and Babydoll sang 'I feel like going on'...they hit the nail on the head with that one. Took me straight to 'chuwch'. I swear Micheal Wright should have won an Oscar for 'best lip-syncing performance in a movie'
